FiEND of Norway hails infernally out of Trondheim and can be described as somewhat of an enfant terrible in the electronic underground. Since the inception in 2007 he's been through an avant garde noise phase, performance pieces including an infamous meat dissection at a vegetarian venue and improvisational drone rap with MC palimpsest. Lately he's been focusing more on structured compositions based on the tracker format with the use of VSTs and some external hardware and effect pedals for that unmistaken FiEND feel and brutal uncompromising sound. He also DJs with the same genrebending zest and has delighted listeners and partygoers with eclectic full-on psytrance sets and hard DnB mixes.
Pain makes it better is programmed in Renoise 3.1 using internal effects, percussion samples and the following freeware VST synths: Crystal, Helm and Basic65. Spoken word sample is taken from Tom Rhodes Radio #237 with Steve Hughes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s51a1otWFp4
