One take performance and mixing by Odd Arve Nicolaisen
Equipment: Moog Mother-32, Moog DFAM,
Strymon Timeline, Digitech Obscura, Digitech Polara (+ a few dots of Logic's ES-2 synth).
Mixed in Logic Pro X.
I've been playing and making music/sounds/noise all my life.
Mostly as a drummer, but I have always loved making, playing with and manipulating sounds.
I got a Casio keyboard when I was about 5 years old, and I spent many hours on that shitty sounding thing.
I never formally learnt to play keys, but I figured out lots on my own. I've also been fond of making sound and music with what I have at the time,
never felt limited by equipment.
My main band is called Redwood Temple, an experimental rock/cross over band.
Earlier I have played with bands and artists in many genres, for example Wyruz (thrash/death metal), Martine Lund Hoel (world music/folk/rock),
Vidsyn (black metal) and Aleister Kane (alternative rock/metal). I've also done some session work, mostly as a drummer.
This is the first official release from The Knitting Party, but maybe just what I need to dare releasing more work...
