Geir Opdal comes from a background as an artist, with painting and drawing as his main medium. About 2010 he started making electronic music. Though he is not new as a musician, and has played guitar, hamonica and jawsharp for many years. As an electronic musician he works mostly with dark experimental ambient music, painting dark mystical soundscapes with a wide arrey of both software and hardware instruments.

With his project “Untermensch”, he has four album releases out. And the project “Softsynth Sorcerers” which he plays with Roar Borge, has two album releases and two singles out.

The piece on this album is solely made in Ableton Live. The generative sequencer Astroids by Isotonic Studios drives the the main piano themes made with Steinbergs Padshop, and the drone of the Tone2 Saurus. H.G.Fortunes The Tiger is used to make the melodic rhythm, and is triggered by a single midi note and tonlay randomized by different native Ableton midi efxs.
